MAP EDITOR
Build a stage in your browser and take it to the game
Pick an X1 stage, paint its tiles on a grid and mark where X starts. The site makes a text code; the game’s map editor opens that code and builds the same map.
The tiles are the original stages’ artwork. The code holds only your map: the chosen stage, the size, every tile and the start.
- Pick the stage and click a tile in the palette.
- Paint on the grid: click or drag. The eraser clears.
- Use “X start” and click where X should appear.
- Make the code and copy it. In the game’s map editor, the import key reads the copied code:
F7
Map code
The code starts with MMX1- and fits in a message. Anyone with the code builds the same map.
Open a code
Paste a code made here or exported by the game and load the map onto the grid.
This is the first version. Enemies, checkpoints, hand-painted collision and a test of the map right in the browser come later.
